The International Amber Association invites you to a basic amber course. The course will take place on May 30 from 8 am to 3 pm.

The basic course on amber is intended to provide the most important information about the origin of amber and geology, contemporary methods of processing and modifying stones, inclusions and imitations, amber in art and marks on silver.

10:00 - 10:50 Methods of amber processing and modification - dr inż. Małgorzata Kucharska
11:00 - 12:00 break
12:00 - 12:50 Amber in art - dr Anna Sobecka
13:00 - 13:50 Organic inclusions in amber - prof. dr hab. Richard Szadziewski
14:00 - 14:50 Signs on silver - Magdalena Ulaczyk

The cost of the course is PLN 1,000, PLN 700 for MSB members.

Each participant will receive a certificate of completion of the course and supporting materials.

The course will be held in Polish.
