In 2022, the International Amber Association established the cooperation with the Stellarium Mine in the certification program for Baltic amber products.

The aim of the cooperation is to ensure the transparency of obtaining amber from legal sources with respect for the natural environment.

As part of the cooperation, the IAA Laboratory will test the material in two stages:

• we will examine the raw material purchased directly from the Stellarium mine,
• we will examine the final product made of this raw material, for which a certificate will be issued.

The certificate can only be issued for items made of natural, not modified amber.

The CERTIFICATE, which is the documentation of the tests carried out, will have additional information about the place of extraction of the raw material - Stellarium, Poland.
