The Amber Personality of the Year 2014
This year, 5 nominations were submitted out of whom the Award Committee, which includes the winners of all the previous editions, selected Ryszard Uliński with a large majority of votes.
In 2014, Ryszard Uliński turned 80 and celebrated 50 years of work in the amber craft. Over more than half a century, he achieved outstanding results in amber management and in community work to the benefit of our business sector. It was high time to acknowledge his lifetime achievements by awarding him the title of the Amber Personality of the Year.
