IAA AMBASSADORS

 

The purpose of the "IAA AMBASSADOR" distinction is to honour natural persons who are business and gallery owners, artists, scientists, representatives of local governments, business organisations, cultural institutions, trade fair organisers, non-governmental organisations, etc., who actively promote the activities of the International Amber Association in their country of residence or operation and, in the opinion of the IAA Board, deserve exceptional recognition.

Iman Abdallah

Sweden/Iraq

Iman Abdallah is the owner of the renowned and successful jewelry brand "Iman's Jewellery," which specializes in the production and sale of amber jewelry. "Iman's Jewellery" has established galleries in both Iraq and Sweden, reflecting its international reach and appeal. As a longstanding and active member of the International Amber Association (IAA), Iman Abdallah has consistently supported IAA events and initiatives. Her efforts have significantly contributed to promoting the IAA in both Sweden and Iraq.

Janusz Fudała

USA

Janusz Fudała, the author of the Ambersafari project, collector and owner of the largest piece of amber in the world, which is currently in the collection of the Amber Museum in Gdańsk. Creator of his own fossil resins of the world at the Museum of the Earth of the Polish Academy of Sciences in Warsaw - "Amber known and unknown in the collection of J Fudala". Origanizator of the exhibition "Amber around the World", a unique project showing jewellery made of Baltic, Dominican and Sumatran amber. He has been an active member of the International Amber Association since 2004.

Fadhel Hashem

Kuweit

Fadhel Hashem, a respected member of the International Amber Association (IAA), is a prominent figure in Kuwait’s amber industry. As the owner of "Mr. Ambers," a company specializing in the sale of amber jewelry and sculptures, Fadhel has made significant contributions to the promotion of amber in the region. His dedication to the IAA is evident through his active efforts to raise awareness of the association’s mission in Kuwait. Notably, Fadhel played a crucial role in supporting the "Baltic Amber Treasure from Poland" exhibition at the Polish Embassy in Kuwait and at the 360 Gallery, showcasing his commitment to fostering international cultural and commercial ties through amber.

Kamil Raed

Sweden/Iraq

Kamil Raed is the owner of the well-known and successful jewellery brand "Iman's Jewellery", which specializes in the production and sale of amber jewellery. "Iman's Jewellery" has established galleries in Iraq and Sweden, which reflects its international reach and appeal. As a long-standing and active member of the International Amber Association (IAA), Kamil Raed consistently supports IAA events and initiatives. Her efforts have contributed significantly to the promotion of IAA both in Sweden and Iraq.

Jessie Liu Hsiang-Hsiu
Taiwan

Jessie Liu Hsiang-Hsiu has over 20 years of experience in the amber business. She is the CEO of the Amber Felix brand, which specializes in selling amber jewelry on Taiwanese TV. She has always been passionate about promoting Baltic amber and Polish amber jewelry. Amber Felix was awarded the IAA Award "Amber Sparking" in 2023. The company is also a strong promoter of IAA Laboratory services—most of the amber jewelry sold on TV comes with IAA Laboratory certificates.
