The International Amber Association and the International Gdańsk Fair cordially invite you to the jubilee 10th edition of Mariacka Street Festival - this year it will be Amber Mariacka!

Several events are planned for this day, mainly related to amber. We will begin the celebration with the performance of the Feminae Cantantes choir from the Gdańsk Senior Academy, which will perform the premiere of the Amber Pipe Poem on this occasion. Later in the program, waiting for participants, a meeting with poetry at the Gdańsk Branch of the Provincial and Municipal Public Library and lectures on amber. At the Archaeological Museum, there will be a lecture on inclusions in amber and the House of Naturalists. Amber Klechdy and make-up will be prepared by Word Hunters. Then we will look at the thresholds of Galeria Jackiewicz, Atelier Paulina Binek, Galeria Civitas Christiana, Atelier Janusz Dembowski, and the Armenian House in Gdańsk. During the workshops for children, organized by the International Amber Association, you will be able to make a personal amber brooch. The next part of the program will be concerts. We invite you to a concert of sailing song and shanties, a piano concert performed by Michał Mossakowski, a concert by The Good Fellas, an organ concert by prof. Grabowski in St. Mary's Basilica, a performance by Artur Jurek Organ Quartet and a concert by Tomasz Ziętek Solo. Climbing the tower of the House of Naturalists of the Archaeological Museum awaits the most persistent. The trading house from Pruszcz Gdański will prepare workshops during which each participant will be able to make a commemorative clay medal. On the doorstep next to Eryk Popkiewicz will present a workshop of a medieval amber worker. Finally, we invite you to visit the outdoor exhibition devoted to amber, where you will find a lot of interesting information about this interesting, ancient resin.
