The 2026 General Meeting of the IAA Members is now behind us!

The IAA General Meeting of Members took place on June 26th. We would like to thank all Association members who found the time to participate. Your presence, commitment, and active participation in discussions are extremely important for the further development of our Association.

We extend special thanks to Robert Pytlos, Plenipotentiary of the Mayor of Gdańsk for Amber (Robert Pytlos), and Andrzej Kowalczys, Plenipotentiary of the Marshal of the Pomeranian Voivodeship for Cooperation with NGOs (Andrzej Kowalczys, Gdańsk City Councilor), for honoring us with their presence. We thank you for your support, kindness, and participation in our event.

We are pleased that we were able to summarize the past year of activity together and discuss plans and challenges for the coming months. Following the General Assembly, at 2:00 PM, a meeting of the Association's members was held at the IAA office. During this meeting, IAA President Ewa Wagner-Wysiecka, at the request of the previous President, Ryszard Uliński, read a speech he had prepared. The speech focused on amber, the author's personal memories, and reflections on the past, present, and future of our Association. It was a unique and moving moment that inspired participants to share memories and discuss the further development of the IAA.
