The Culmination of the Legnica Jewellery Festival SREBRO will take place on May 8–9!

The programme of this year’s Legnica Jewellery Festival SREBRO includes 13 exhibitions of unique contemporary jewellery, posters, photography, and visual arts, presented across 10 venues in the heart of the city. The exhibitions will feature over 1,000 works by nearly 400 artists from more than 40 countries – from Australia, through China and Japan, most European countries, Iran, to Canada, the USA, and Argentina. The exhibitions will be open to visitors throughout spring and summer.

The Legnica exhibitions will present the works and profiles of, among others, Nikita Kavryzhkin, Ewa Effenberg-Kaji, Monika Peksa, Sophie Bélanger, and Karolina Dyczko, as well as students and lecturers from the Experimental Design Studio at the Academy of Fine Arts in Gdańsk, and a collective presentation of the Tincal lab Challenge from Portugal.

On the final day of the Festival’s culmination, May 9, the results of the 34th International Jewellery Art Competition EVERY BODY will be announced. During the ceremony,IAA will award a prize consisting of 0.5 kg of Baltic amber and the opportunity to present the winner’s work in the IAA Gallery. This year, additional distinctions in the form of a piece of amber and participation in a group exhibition will also be awarded to two artists.
