Once again, the IAA was honored to present an award in the Amber Trip Art Jewellery Contest 2026 during the Lithuanian trade fair @ambertriplithuania.

This year's competition theme was the famous phrase heard on the London Underground, "Mind the Gap," a reminder to exercise caution when boarding a train.

Around fifty artists interpreted the theme, presenting precise executions and a variety of artistic solutions.

The IAA Award went to Swiss artist Barbara Schwager (@schwagerbarbara), who was also recognized by the jury as the best work with amber. The silver brooch with an amber disc was crafted with extraordinary precision and was titled "Mind the Gap - or - Build a Bridge."

As is tradition, in conjunction with the award, we will be able to view this and other works by the artist at an exhibition at the IAA Gallery in Gdańsk.
