"Cosmic Origins to Human Choices exhibition takes us on a journey through the universe to the present day. Beginning with the Milky Way, it continues through our solar system, the Earth's volcanic origins, the formation of the oceans, and the development of life.
Subsequent works reference the Eocene epoch, the cradle of Baltic amber, portraying this period through the combination of amber and wood, capturing the atmosphere of rich forests and diverse life forms. As we reach the present day - the Anthropocene epoch - three key objects examine human impact on the world and the choices before us.
Mickey Mouse, once an eternal optimist and a symbol of hope who "always wins in the end" is portrayed as a corrupt idol who no longer an innocent bearer of dreams, but a personification of how the pursuit of power and wealth leads humanity toward destruction and manipulation, creating unequal and unjust systems."
