The International Amber Association Jury, composed of Giedymin Jabłoński and Małgorzata Siudak, after reviewing the jewelry pieces qualified for the Władysław Strzemiński PROJEKT Competition, decided to award the Amber Prize to Justyna Anioł for her work "I Had a Dream and Both Ended Badly."

Justyna Anioł received 0.5 kg of Baltic amber and the opportunity to exhibit her work at the IAA Gallery.

"The work subtly and metaphorically confronts the themes of life and death – war depicted through plastic soldiers and life symbolized by fragile stalks of grain. The clash of these two orders reveals the tension between destruction and growth, between what is artificial and dead and what is natural and full of life. The artist has created a moving reflection on the cycle of existence, in which even in the face of violence, nature continually finds the strength to regenerate." - IAA Jury

We sincerely congratulate the winner and look forward to seeing the collection that will emerge from this unique award!
