On June 30, the General Assembly of MSB Members took place. Thanks to the courtesy of the Gdańsk City Hall, our meeting was held in the beautiful interior of the Gdańsk City Council Chamber.

During the meeting, two individuals who have significantly contributed to the development of both our association and the field of amber craftsmanship were honored. Honorary membership titles were awarded to Ms. Gabriela Gierłowska and Dr. Małgorzata Kucharska.

"Gabriela Gierłowska has been involved with amber for over 50 years. She worked alongside her husband, Wiesław Gierłowski, at the Zrzeszeniu Wytwórców "Art-Region" and later ran her own manufacturing and conservation studio. She serves as an MSB expert, an expert for the Pomeranian Provincial Trade Inspection, and a court-appointed expert in the field of amber. Gabriela has been connected with MSB since its inception—not only as a founding member but also as an active contributor. (...) Precise and strict in her evaluations, yet sensitive, and when she gives praise, her words stay in memory for a long time."

"Dr. Eng. Małgorzata Kucharska is a graduate of the Faculty of Chemistry at Gdańsk University of Technology. She earned her PhD with a dissertation titled Selected Issues in the Chemistry and Technology of Baltic Amber. Her doctoral research was pioneering at the time, focusing on the characterization of Baltic amber, including its properties as a raw material. (...) She is deeply involved in the work of the Amber Laboratory, both within the Association and during the Amberif trade fairs. Always available, open, and wholeheartedly engaged. Selflessly. For the benefit of amber and the Association."

Commemorative diplomas with thanks were also presented to donors present at the meeting who contributed to the renovation of MSB’s new headquarters through their donations on the zrzutka.pl platform.
