It's high time to summarise the evening of opening the new headquarters of the International Amber Association!

On March 12, 2025 at 6:30 p.m., the official opening of the new headquarters of the International Amber Association took place. This is a new space for all of us. A gallery that will also work well as a place for workshops, courses and seminars, as well as a new laboratory and office.

The symbolic ribbon-cutting was performed by the Deputy Mayor of the City of Gdańsk - Ms. Monika Chabior and the Deputy Director of the Department for Cooperation with NGOs at the Marshal's Office of the Pomeranian Voivodeship - Mr. Andrzej Kowalczys, for which we would like to thank very much.

The opening was accompanied by the vernissage of "ECHO of Amber", an exhibition created by you - artists, amber lovers, Members and friends of the International Amber Association. The donated objects are a personal echo of how amber is associated with each person and what emotions it arouses. The exhibition can be viewed until 12.06.2025 in the IAA Gallery, at ul. Heweliusza 31 in Gdańsk.

The turnout at the opening exceeded our wildest expectations. This is a huge motivation for us to continue our activities. It proves that amber is invariably important to us, we want to commune with it, infect others with passion and share reliable knowledge about it.

We owe the fragrant gifts to Mr. Alan Balewski @bale_perfumes. We remind you that each of the scents contained an amber ingredient.
