The Jury of the International Amber Association, consisting of Giedymin Jabłoński and Małgorzata Siudak, after reviewing the jewelry pieces qualified for the Władysław Strzemiński PROJEKT Competition, has decided to award the Amber Prize to Katarzyna Jantoszak for her necklace titled "Storytelling."

"We selected the necklace from a large group of works distinguished by their high craftsmanship and artistic quality, employing a method that resonates with the legacy of the Academy's and the competition's patron, Władysław Strzemiński. This was the piece that left the strongest afterimage in our memory. The phantasmagoria of human faces, depicted through 25 masterfully repoussé copper portraits, creates an extraordinary emotional tension. It brings to life an interaction between the wearer and the viewer, forging a unique bond that captivates attention and inspires reflection."

Katarzyna Jantoszak received 0.5 kg of Baltic amber and the opportunity to present her work at the International Amber Association Gallery.

We warmly congratulate the laureate and eagerly anticipate the collection that will emerge from this exceptional award!
