Medal Museum of Gdańsk for the IAA and the closure of the Amber Museum

On the following days, the Amber Museum in Gdańsk's Foregate Complex. It's been 15 years of the acitivity of the The Amber Museum, during which the Museum was visited by over a million visitors and organized 103 temporary exhibitions. The opening of the Amber Museum in its new premises will take place on the July 23rd at "Wielki Młyn".

During the today's ceremony the International Amber Association was honored with the Gdańsk Museum medal. On behalf of the IAA president, the medal was collected by the IAA vice president, professor Jacek Szwedo.

During the meeting, the director of the Museum, Waldemar Ossowski, was given a gift in the form of a mask with amber. We are very gratefull and we look forward to the opening of the new premises Amber Museum!
