Dr hab. Sławomir Fijałkowski is the graduate of the Academy of Fine Arts in Łódź, where he got a diploma in the
range of designing jewelry.

In 1996-1998 completed his postgraduate studies in Hochschule fur Kunstlerishe und Industrielle Gestaltung in Linz in Austria in the range of an industrial design of metal products. He was the scholar of Ministry of Culture and Art, Batory Foundation, Viennese Foundation of Cultures-Kontakt and Austrian Ministry of Science and Researches. Academic teacher at ASP Łódź, then at ASP Gdańsk, Koszalin Polytechnic, Sopot College and Baltic Amber College.

At present he runs a jewelry design workshop on ASP Design Department in Gdańsk. He is the author of numerous articles, publications, scientific texts and also didactic programs, theoretic analysis concerning design and modern art of goldsmithery. At the same time he is a designer and creator of the author's jewelry.
